These terms cover your use of the Manua iPhone and iPad app. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
Manua reads the instruction manual for a thing you own and rewrites it in plain language: a summary, the rules that can damage it or void its warranty, a care schedule, and what its error codes mean. It also reminds you when care is due.
Manua is a convenience, not an authority. The manufacturer's own manual, and the manufacturer's own support, are the authority on your equipment. Manua's explanations are produced by an AI model reading a document, and AI models make mistakes: they can misread a page, attribute a rule to the wrong model, or omit something important.
Do not rely on Manua alone for anything where being wrong is expensive or dangerous — electrical work, gas appliances, fuel, pressure vessels, vehicle safety systems, child equipment, or medical devices. Check the manufacturer's manual before acting, and use a qualified professional where one is required. If Manua's answer disagrees with the printed manual, the printed manual wins.
Nothing in the app is professional, safety, legal or medical advice.
You keep ownership of the photographs, PDFs and text you put into the app. You confirm you have the right to use the manuals you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service on your behalf: to transmit that material to the AI provider so it can be read, and to return the result to your device. We do not publish it, sell it, or use it to train anything.

Manua offers an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or yearly, through your Apple Account. Payment is taken at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy and may differ by region.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us — request one here.
Reading a manual needs an internet connection and depends on services we do not control. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage to your equipment, loss of warranty, injury, lost data, lost profits or other indirect losses arising from your use of the app or your reliance on its output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
These terms may change; the date above changes with them, and continued use after a material change means acceptance. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
